DR SANDY CHONG
Winner of the US Stevie International Business Awards - Executive of the Year & Entreprenuer of the Year, Asia Top Sustainability Woman of the Year Award, and Singapore Management Consultant of the Year Award. Sandy has been a lead strategist and a change agent for overseas expansion & sustainability. Her expertise in international strategy and strategic communication has helped firms grow from local to global - creating opportunities for the communities clients operate in.
A Harvard alumna and Director of the Australian Harvard Women, Sandy graduated with a PhD in digital commerce and innovation adoption. A tenured academic, chief researcher, and winner of teaching award, Sandy has led industry and government projects in international growth, sustainability, and strategic alliances. Frequently invited to share her expertise at international conferences, Sandy advises university boards on international strategy and stakeholders engagement as an Adjunct Professor.
Winner of Australia Community Citizen of the Year Award 2020, Women Economic Forum's Women of Excellence Award 2019, and Western Australia Multicultural Recognition Awards 2016, Sandy is a strong advocate of education & economic empowerment for youth and women An Ambassador for various non-profit organisations, her passion in connecting businesses with philanthropic causes has helped raised funds for UN Women, Special Olympics, and Homeward Bound.
Born in Singapore, migrated to Australia in 1995. Sandy is a global citizen who has lived in Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, and the US. She loves travelling, and embracing diverse cultures of the world. An educator by heart and a strategist by education, Sandy enjoys connecting through knowledge sharing, art that moves and inspires, and people with passion and purpose
